He has been the fitness expert in hundreds of magazines, newspapers and on television, and consults for some of the biggest exercise, sport and fitness companies in the world, including Gatorade, Nautilus, Schwinn, Equinox, BOSU, 24 Hour Fitness and Stairmaster. He is a fitness expert for MSNBC.com and the Los Angeles Times, and his articles are read by millions of people each year.
Jay has been a Nike Elite Contract Athlete and Nike consultant for almost 20 years. He worked closely with Nike on the launch of Nike+ Running, which has become the largest digital running community in the world with over 5 million members, and was named one of the best tech gadgets and services in 2006 by Time Magazine. He was also the original creator and program developer of the Nike Training Club App, and the Nike Training Club in-gym program, which boasts over 5 million digital users. He is also a key expert and consultant for many of Nike’s new Digital Sport initiatives launched in 2012, including the Nike+ FuelBand and Nike+ Kinect Training.
He is also a frequent innovation, motivation and consumer behavior expert, and has consulted with many Fortune 500 companies, including Pepsico, Starbucks, Charles Schwab, Dell and Quaker.
Josh Crosby is an ultra-endurance athlete, World Champion Ironman competitor, critically acclaimed trainer and fitness instructor from Los Angeles and the creator of Indo-Row®.
He is a 3rd generation rower and was a Gold Medalist at the 1992 Jr. World Rowing Championships. He rowed on the Brown University Rowing Team, helping to bring his crews to two National Championship titles. He led the U.S. National Lightweight Team to 5th place at the World Rowing Championships and was chosen by the 1996 Olympic Selection Team and U.S. National Team where he competed until 1999.
Josh finished 1st place in the Los Angeles Triathlon in 2004 and 2nd place in 2005; in addition, he was selected to compete as a member of Team Revo in the Raid X-treme World Championships in 2007, a 7-day adventure race covering 650 miles.
